DAY 01 : ARRIVAL ROME

• Upon arrival your personal assistant will pick you up at the airplane gate and help you with the border and the luggage belt. Your private Mercedes will wait for you outside the airport gate to drive you to the hotel in Rome.
• Our assistant will give you an Italian sim card you can use for free calls, sms and internet.
• Today you will discover Rome by yourselves. Start the tour from the city center to discover the monuments and the palace of the Baroque period: Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna.
• The dinner will be served at a Michelin guide restaurant with an astonishing view on the Colosseum (dinner not included).
• Overnight in Rome.

DAY 02 : ROME (B)

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Today, you will meet your personal driver and guide at the hotel lobby to visit the world’s smallest country and the center of the Catholic World – Vatican City.
• Visit the impressive St. Peter’s square and Church, and explore the Vatican Museums, Raffaello’s rooms and the Sistine Chapel.
• In the afternoon you will continue to discover Rome with your professional guide. Start the tour from Michelangelo’s Campidoglio (Capitoline Hill) where you can look out over the Roman Forum area, then continue to the Imperial Forums and the ruins of the Colosseum.
• Overnight in Rome.

DAY 03 : ROME – POMPEI – AMALFI COAST (B)

• Breakfast at hotel
• This morning your personal driver will take you to the Rome train station to catch a fast train to Naples.
• At the Naples train station your driver will wait for you to take you to your hotel in the Amalfi coast.
• On the way there, you will stop in Pompei for a guided visit of the “scavi” and will recount the historical facts of this important city destroyed and buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in the morning of August 24th 79AD.
• During the guided walking tour you will have the opportunity to visit the Forum that was the center of religious and economic life, the Casa del Fauno, one of the largest, and most impressive private residences in Pompeii, the Termopolium a sort of ancient inn where the foreigners who arrived in Pompeii could eat and buy wine, the Lupanare, famous for the erotic paintings. The eruption preserved exactly how this important town of approx. 20.000 inhabitants was, which was completely covered in 30 feet of volcanic ash. We suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes.
• In the afternoon your personal driver will transfer you to Amalfi coast.
• Overnight in Amalfi coast.

DAY 04 : AMALFI COAST (B)

• Breakfast at the hotel
• This morning after breakfast your personal driver will let you enjoy a full day around the Amalfi Coast.
• Drive along the UNESCO World Heritage listed Amalfi Coast on 'state route 163' – a masterpiece of human engineering.
• In the afternoon you will taste 2 typical local products: Limoncello and Mozzarella.
• You will visit a Cheese factory to learn more about the production and taste Mozzarella! An expert will explain to you how mozzarella is made and you will try to make one with your own hands!
• You will go on to visit a Limoncello factory to learn more about the production and taste this typical product!
• Following the natural outlines of Europe's most spectacular coastline, you will drive through picture perfect villages, such as Praiano, Furore, Conca dei Marini and verdant cliffs dotted with waterfalls.
• Overnight in Amalfi coast.

DAY 05 : AMALFI COAST – CAPRI – AMALFI COAST (B)

• Breakfast at the hotel
• This morning your personal driver will take you to catch the ferry boat to Capri Island.
• In the afternoon you will enjoy a visit of the island famous for its designer shops and chic hotels.
• Visit Marina Grande and the village of Anacapri, located 1,800 feet above sea.
• Afterwards continue to the main town of Capri, where you can visit La Piazzetta, the Gardens of Augustus and look across Faraglioni, and the distinctive rocks.
• You will then board your ferry to get back to Amalfi pier, from Amalfi pier your personal driver will take you back to your hotel.
• Overnight in Amalfi coast.

DAY 06 : AMALFI COAST – CIVITA & ORVIENTO – TUSCANY COUNTRY (B)

• Breakfast at hotel
• This morning your personal driver will wait for you at the hotel lobby to transfer you to the Tuscany countryside.
• On the way there, you will stop to visit two extraordinary Etruscan towns with your guide. In northern Lazio, you will cross a narrow bridge to the fascinating hill town of Civita di Bagnoregio.
• In Umbria you will stop in Orvieto, famous for its Etruscan ruins as well as its Gothic cathedral and the excellent wines preserved in its underground cellars.
• In the afternoon your driver will transfer you to the Chianti area, one the most characteristic and intact medieval cities in Italy which, from a height of 605 meters above the sea level, offers amazing views.
• Here you will visit a famous winery where a professional sommelier will describe the production of Chianti wine.
• Overnight in Tuscany countryside.

DAY 07 : TUSCANY COUNTRYSIDE (B/L)

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Today you will meet up with your “Searching Truffle” an expert Truffle-gatherer of the San Miniato hills, and his inseparable dog, you will lead for a walk in the wood with them. It’s the opportunity to discover this “treasure” hidden in the woods of San Miniato and the dog’s training methods.
• After the walk, some experts will explain you the working processes and the use of the truffle then a wonderful tasting lunch of Truffles in a real truffle factory, where is possible to understand better why this incredible product of the Earth is called the "White Gold" and taste a wonderful lunch of local food based on truffle ingredients.
• Free afternoon.
• Optional tour: In Tuscany Ape Tuk Tuk was used by people who lived in small villages, where streets were narrow, or to take goods from the farms. Today you can enjoy a special Ape Tuk Tuk tour of Tuscany countryside or in Florence. A wine tasting will be served.

DAY 08 : TUSCANY COUNTRYSIDE – MODENA AREA - VENICE (B)

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Today your driver will wait for you at the hotel lobby to take you to Venice.
• On the way you will stop in Modena area, the town of aceto balsamico. Unknown even to Italians outside this small city until around 20 years ago, authentic balsamic vinegar is made from local grapes and aged for at least 12 years in special wooden barrels.
• Visit an acetaia (balsamic vinegar maker) and tasting the delicious, sweet and tangy flavors.
• Upon your arrival in Venice you will board a private boat to reach your hotel.
• Overnight in Venice.

DAY 09 : VENICE (B)

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Today you will go on your guided walking tour of the city. Venice’s charm lies both in its unique civil engineering achievements, and in the harmony of Eastern and Western artistic styles that have flourished here over the centuries.
• Your guided tour highlights some of the major sites that define the look and history of Venice, and includes visits to Doges Palace, St Mark’s Basilica and St Mark’s square.
• In the afternoon you will meet your personal guide to take a ferry boat to visit Murano to see how the famous glass making is made along with an expert glass connoisseur who will lead you through the closed doors of a glass master’s private studio. (option: have a private boat).
• Overnight in Venice.
• Optional activity: Meet a master carpenter at “squero”, the site where gondolas are made.

DAY 10 : VENICE DEPARTURE (B)

• Breakfast at hotel
• This morning your private boat will wait outside the hotel to take you to Venice airport to catch your flight back home.
